You have just finished reading all nine chapters of Pobre Ana, where we traveled with Ana and her new friends in México. If you were the author and had to add a tenth chapter, what would happen? Would Ana see Ricardo again? Would he visit her in California? Would Ana return to mexico? Would she keep in touch with Patricia and La Familia Sanchez?
Please write Chapter Ten for Pobre Ana. This should include a narration and dialogue similar to other chapters in the book. You will present your Chapter ten to the class in cartoon form using ToonDoo. Please see the attached rubric on the back.
Remember : Be creative and have fun!
Create an account in Toondoo. Use your usual login and password so you wont forget it.
Become familiar with the characters and backgrounds that ToonDoo furnishes so that you can write your story using those. You can also upload backgrounds and characters that you found on the internet but you may not be able to apply emotions and postures to them.
Write you script in word and make sure your spell check in Spanish. Hand it in to your teacher for approval.
Decide you the number of panels you will need to tell your story and the lay out you will use.
Now log into your ToonDoo account, select your background, select your characters, select your bubbles and start creating your story.
Remember the bubbles will not word wrap , so hit return when you think you have enough on that line. You can make your text and bubbles smaller by selecting the reductin icon on the tools along the bottom of your toon.
When you are finished you will publish your Toon publicly and then select the embed code to be placed on your wikispace at http://quemasana.wikispaces.com.
You will present your comic stories to the class through the wikispace.

The students use the target language in a different structure, using an interactive tool. They enjoy exploring the options offered by ToonDoo to create their cartoon. As they create their interactive comic book story they are practicing the four language skills speaking, reading, writing, and listening, therefore expanding their confidence in Spanish.
